  1. Just to add some context, Enes Kanter is a Turk. Turks are one of the few Islamic peoples who even care about the Uyghurs because the Uyghurs are also a Turkic people. This is also why Mesut Ozil spoke out on the Uyghur issue. Nonetheless, it's great when anyone speaks up about it.

  2. One of the problems is that you are allowed to insult America without any consequence. You can continue doing your business because US law allows you to insult America. However, if you insult China, you get shut out completely. Hence, it is easier to insult America than China as an American because the consequences for insulting China would be a complete lockout from the country.
