  1. Judaism has matrilineal lineage so the child of a Hindu mother would not be a Jew unless the Hindu mother converts to Judaism prior I think. Although citizenship can be passed down from the father but religiously speaking a Jew must have a Jewish mother, that's especially the rule for aliyah to Israel.
