  1. There are actually 23 official languages in India. Scheduled languages are 22 but do not include English. English is most definitely an official language in India and hence the total is 23.

  2. He's made many different mistakes. He accepted so many languages that were not even official languages, like Haryanvi, Bhojpuri etc.

  3. If Rajasthani does not count, then Bhojpuri does not count either. Both are not scheduled.
