  1. Sweden taxes the crap out of its middle class which America refuses to do. The marginal tax rate for someone making $60000 in Sweden is 52%.

  2. I can tell you it surely isn't a bunch of poor and middle class folks who are renouncing. It's rich people and those living abroad. It also costs $2300 in fees. And then If you have high income or high net worth, it also costs a capital gains tax.
