They forgot the Hong Kong MTR whom they copied and consulted from. They even stole the airport express idea from Hong Kong with an in town check in.

@uchhihasasuke7360 Don't want to give anything "China" sounding credit

@aresetramadiraizel8810 It's not patented but they officially took help from them. Just accept it and move on dude.

@aresetramadiraizel8810 They didn't credit. Because they don't talk about it. It's hidden far away in footnotes.

@jaguarunleashed4935 The point here is that the Indians were not really the pioneers here. If you've used the Hong Kong MTR system, you will know what I mean immediately. Who said anything is pantented?

@jaguarunleashed4935 You went and did what I expected you to. Hong Kong has nothing to do with "the Chinese" especially in the case of the MTR (the metro system there). The MTR was build largely under British times and has not copied anyone. In fact, even other Chinese Metro systems have learned extensively from the MTR. So there's no need to go on a tirade about the "Chinese" here. And there's no question whether Hong Kong was the first to create it or not, it's a matter of public record, it's just that now the DMRC doesn't really like to talk about it. In a way, you proved my original point that they are apprehensive to give credit to anything sounding Chinese.

@jaguarunleashed4935 If you look at the HK Airport Express line, the concept is exactly the same with the in-town check in. Even the trains they have used have very similar designs of the interiors and exteriors. The HK MTR is a very rich company, so they are not asking people for credit but it would be mature if the DMRC better recognised HK for it. Even the concept of turning stations into shopping malls was a HK concept.
