As a gay guy I can’t bear this obsession some people have with rainbow flags and feeling the need to flaunt their sexuality or gender issues. My sexuality is just one aspect of me, it doesn’t define and, frankly, isn’t anyones business. I couldn’t care less whether the person who serves me in a shop, for instance, is gay, straight or anything else. I can’t help but feel that some people feel that having a different ‘identity’ makes them interesting, which is why they make such a fuss about it. Honestly, I despair at the way society is going.

So, this guy was able to understand exactly why a whole group of individuals laughed at something just by being in the same room as them. Wow. Powerful stuff. He’s clearly got talents that are wasted reading an autocue.

I’m surprised the BBC haven’t sacked her for daring to speak the truth about the gender cult.

Exactly….somehow a gay person like me pointing out that sexuality and gender identity have nothing to do with each other is somehow ‘hateful’. Aspects of gender ideology, such as the downplaying of sex over gender, are actually homophobic and undermine the notion of same-sex attraction.

@jumbo4billion exactly that.

100% with you on this….LGB has nothing to do with gender identity. The way we’re all lumped in together really gets on my nerves.

Really enjoyed this and great to see you putting our SNP friend firmly in her place. Keep up the good work.

Dan messed up and paid the price - something was always going to catch up with this trashy tabloid journalist.

@lulzjeffy1337 and most of the people that identify with Q and the numerous letters beyond that are same sex attracted, or straight as we used to know it!! This is what pisses many gays like me off, the gay rights movement has been hijacked by straight people who then seek to exclude gay people who don’t buy into the gender identity ideology.

@j2174 exactly that! They want you to know how virtuous they are while, at the same time, suggesting you’re so fragile you need to know there are people ‘on your side’. If I meet a straight person and don’t beat them up, does that make me an ally of straight people?

Woman who can’t string a coherent sentence together demands we have ‘the right conversations’. Comedy gold.
