  1. I noticed exactly the same. Click on the article and the first image is a composite of all ten victims. Two victims are a mother and young son, so the parent and young child angle isn’t unique to the black man and his daughter. All that distinguishes them from the others is their skin colour. Funnily enough, a casual look through BBC articles suggests that being non-white helps you gain prominence as a victim, and lose prominence as a perpetrator. Coincidence?
