Corbyn was happy to make clear his hatred of Jews but for some reason couldn’t bring himself to admit to being a euro-sceptic. What a strange fellow.

All interviewers challenge the politician they are interviewing, otherwise what’s the point? The idea that Mrs T never faced a difficult interview is fanciful.

It was a Labour MP that came up with that name. Meanwhile, keeping the Welsh windbag out of Downing Street was a fantastic decision.

@stevel7977 It’s standard practice for interviews to be challenging and for the interviewer to essentially take the opposite stance to the points being made. Kinnock talked too much, he admits that, which given the interviewer more holes to pick in what he’s saying. If Thatcher was better at it, that’s to her credit. By this point Kinnock had been leader for almost 10 years so should have been better able to manage the situation.

Same with Prescott. He spent a career complaining about the Lords and ‘privilege’ but couldn’t wait to get in there when he was offered a peerage. Hypocrites through and through.

@stevel7977 What are you talking about? ‘Welsh’ is an accurate description, not an insult, and ‘windbag’ refers to his tendency to use five times more words than he needed to. How that means Wales as whole isn’t treated equally is anyone’s guess.
