  3.  @annishilcock4587  Even if the black hole existed, it could be plugged by cuts. She actually increased spending by more than double the size of the ‘black hole’ which is why taxes are going up so much. That’s a choice….she didn’t need to do that.

  5. Extra money isn’t needed.the government already spends more than it ever has done before, but spends it incredible badly. The state should be smaller and more efficient. Throwing money at problems doesn’t solve anything.

  7. @ This is complete rot. For a start, current health spending is the highest it has ever been….the NhS just spends money extremely badly. The last Labour government used PFI to rebuild schools and hospitals which left us saddled with debt and meant buildings end up costing many times their value - the government currently spends more on debt interest per year than the entire education system.

  8. @ There are plenty of areas that can be cut. Welfare, childcare, civil service, foreign aid etc. The NHS should do less but do it better.
