  1. Ukraine has been using ballistic missiles to attack Russian air defense for a long time, including recently North of Kursk. For them to be successful you need a fairly complicated attack to outsmart or overwhelm the defenses but Ukraine has proven that they can do this. Ryan is right that they're expensive and if Ukraine can't produce large numbers of them the benefit will be minimal. However on their actual capability I don't think that he gave them enough credit.
