Dara Massicot overlooked some key factors. She said that Ukraine basically has enough weapons. Ukraine is missing key weapons without restrictions, that would be a significant problem for Russia. The lack of these key weapons, without restrictions on their use, over the last 2 to 3 years has caused tremendous, unnecessary atrophy to the AFU. She says that Ukraine's biggest shortage is infantry. While Russia's lines of communication back into Russia and its Military-industrial complex in Russia have been off limits, how would Ukraine ever have enough infantry? Even if Ukraine's population were larger than Russia's it still wouldn't be enough under these imposed circumstances. Most of Russia's progress this year has been enabled by it's liberal use of glide bombs and missiles dropped from aircraft. Ukraine needs the weapons to shoot down those aircraft, it's not an infantry issue. Her perspective seems to be that of someone who wants to blame Ukraine rather than find solutions. When we get directly involved we'll do everything that we wouldn't let Ukraine do. I'm ashamed of how the US has been playing this war.
