  1. Is Secretary Austin guy a clown or is he lying? Yeah Russia moved their planes back because they thought we might let Ukraine strike them. As long as we continue to restrain Ukraine, Russia will move its planes right up to the border, again. If providing tanks wasn't a game changer it's because we provided 30 of them while Ukraine needs 300 Abrams and 1000 total. On top of that, taanks, HIMARS, Patriot, Storm shadow, etc. have been game changers. If you take any of them out of the battle it changes the game dramatically. If they were provided in greater numbers it would also change the game dramatically.

  3. The war won't be over until Russia is defeated. Any ceasefire or "negotiated end to the war will just be allowing Russia to reconstitute itself for the next attack. There is a lot of history and current evidence to support this fact. Japan and Germany were defeated. That's how you get behavioral change and a lasting peace.

  9. I don't disagree that the US has a lot of waste fraud and corruption. However Rand is playing on the ignorance and biases of a lot of people. The truth is that funding a lot of things that seem ridiculous is the result of negotiations where those other governments provide something that we are interested in. USAID is the American version of China's belt and road initiative. Everybody knows that China has gained tremendous influence in a lot of areas with its initiative. Too many fail to realize that when we withdraw from places like Panama for example, China will step right in and fill the gap. USAID paying for things that seem ridiculous is often a way to prevent Chinese influence in those areas. Don't be fooled by politicians misleading you to make themselves look good.

  14. Oh the irony... Trump calls out Biden's weakness as a sign that Putin could do what he wanted. At the same time, trump's weakness against Putin is giving the same sign to Xi. Trump is continuing the Obama/ Biden legacy of American weakness and we'll be at war with China because of it. Your high school kid is likely to be drafted to fight China.

  16. I don't approve of the Trump administration's position. However other people would matter much more if they were willing to back up their words. If Europe would step up and fully support Ukraine, Hegseth wouldn't even be there and he wouldn't be missed.
