  1. In real life you need reasonable suspicion of a crime to detain somebody LEGALLY. Obviously I don't know you and I'm not judging you, but in general, cops detain people all day long everyday without reasonable suspicion. The repercussions for doing that are normally nothing, there are none. If a person knows their rights and is reasonably sure that an officer does not have reasonable suspicion, they can ignore the cop and walk away. But that almost never works out the way it should. If a cop grabs somebody and they physically resist, they just committed a crime even though that cop had no right to grab them. Now that they've committed a crime he's got probable cause to arrest them. Maybe the charges are dropped, maybe they win their trial or maybe a corrupt court convicts. It's a shot in the dark. Civil lawsuit against the cop? Good luck overcoming qualified immunity, if you can even find a lawyer willing to take the case. DA charges the cop with assault for grabbing someone without probable cause? Yeah right 🤣 In real life most cops can get away with doing just about any damn thing they want to. Even when it's caught on video they're still able to get out of it. If the case goes viral and the community won't forget about it, then they let the cop quit before being fired so he can get another job in a neighboring city. Accountability for the bad things that some cops due is close to 0. There have been some exceptions but they're called exceptions for a reason...
