"If you can't change the people, change the people" it means that if your friends or employees have bad behavior and they refuse to change then you need to exchange them for different people. Sometimes trying to force people (or a country) to change, is just a waste of time... and it can become dangerous if you try too hard. Please be smart/ safe!

  9. In Portuguese the word for you is voce but it's not a word with a lot of respect. When addressing an elder or someone of a higher position, formally, it's better to say O pai, A mae, O senhor, A senhora, O professor, etc.
