@Lightning613 Gutfeld did a great little segment concerning that, saying how Trump is a real estate salesman (realtor) ... he talks in realtor speak (an old house isn't old, it's has character. A small house isn't small, it's cozy). EVERYONE in real estate over accentuates the positives and "spins" the negatives. It's just the way Trump talks. Sometimes it's kinda lying, but by now we all know how to see through it and get the main idea.

@timothyflores8342 I agree! They were so worried about them wearing off before the 90 minutes were over, that they did something to delay their action somehow. He got a little more alert and better as the debate went on , towards the end, and at Waffle House, he was completely different. They just got their timing off or something.

@DannyTimms-j8q Still not the point. We all know what Trump meant, and what he was talking about. He "exaggerated" too much on that one. Here is his quote - "Some states, Democrat run, take it after birth." Can't you just man up and admit he shouldn't have said that, because it's not true? Stop acting like a Democrat and twisting things around and making excuses for a gaff. I want him to win. I don't want him to give the Dems reasons to disparage him to the uninformed.

Post-birth abortion being legal in Democrat states. It is not, anywhere.

Post-birth abortion being legal in Democrat states. It is not, anywhere. Some other stuff in that abortion segment too. He should have kept his answer short and sweet there.

@ZenKrio um, you may wanna respond to what I said instead of trying to correct something I didn't say. I KNOW it never became a law. It sounded to me like Trump inferred it was a law in a Democrat state already, which is why I mentioned that as a lie. Edit.. so yah, I dont know why you're writing all this to argue with me. I know it's not a law, and I know there are Dems who want it to be. It sounded to me in the debate like Trump was saying they already have such a law in a Dem state.

@ZenKrio ok, how's this? "Some states, Democrat run, take it after birth." That's word for word what he said, the direct quote. He didn't say "want to".

Also, I think they tried to time his drug cocktail to keep him alert longer than his usual 20-30 minute speech. Remember how many people were questioning whether he could stand for 90 minutes? And he started the debate really slow, but kind of improved towards the end. Then at Waffle House afterwards, he looked like a new man! I think they definitely drugged him, they just got the timing wrong.

@elizabethf3596 what does that have to do with what I said?
2
@QuentinLassiter I could be mistaken, but I'm fairly sure he inferred that it was already legal in at least one state. That part of the debate wasn't the most concise, maybe I heard one sentence wrong. But that's what I thought I heard.

Post-birth abortion being legal in Democrat states. It is not, anywhere. Plus many over exaggerations.

@christopherconard2831 No, his full strength kicked in AFTER the debate, at Waffle House. They timed his meds wrong. (Also his speech the next day).

When he lied about post-birth abortion being legal in Democrat states. It is not, anywhere.

Well, he lied about post-birth abortion being legal in Democrat states. It is not, anywhere. I think he was wrong on some of the things he said about Roe v. Wade, too.
