A lot of people forget that the Iranians refused to release the hostages under Carter's watch because they had no respect for him and refused to do anything that would allow praise for him or make him look like an effective leader.   2. not exactly. they dont censor the content, they just censor their placement of ads. worse thing they would do is choose not to place ads on a certain video (s). he could still say anything and everything he wanted.
