  9.  @NickTheEnlightened  Sure, the entire scenario was different (and I'm not chastising you for voting for Obama), but the point is the same. Both he and Kamala have horrible voting records, very close connections with nefarious people, have done and said things in the past they don't want the public to know about, have a friendly media who scrub or refuse to publish any harmful information, etc... At the time, there were a lot of people trying to get the actual media to look into the people Obama was connected to, his college records (and thesis, also Michelle's), some of the things he had said prior, just lots of things that the average citizen would never know unless the media put it out there. He probably wouldn't have gotten elected had the truth been told. Now they're doing the same with Kamala. Literally rewriting their own history for her benefit. The main difference this time around is all the independent "journalists" on social media. We can only hope this difference is enough to open some otherwise closed eyes. PS. His opponent McCain is irrelevant to the discussion whether people were made aware of Obama's past or not. My point was about the general population not being aware of it, and even more importantly, being prevented from knowing it in many cases. The same thing is happening with Kamala - news agencies are altering or deleting their own pages that contradict what they're saying now about her. And they're not digging into her past and publishing anything negative about her. Just like they did with Obama. Sorry, but one more thing. Whatever you say about McCain (I don't like him), I still say he would have been better than Obama. Obama kept the wars going, he was actually sympathetic to our enemies in more than a few situations, so McCain being a war hawk would have made little difference. However, with McCain, we probably wouldn't have had the racial stuff happening, nor the men-in-womens-restroom and tranns stuff proliferating every aspect of our lives. Plus McCain wasn't an enemy to US energy independence like Obama was. Bush wasn't great, neither was McCain, but all the really bad falling of our country and society started with Obama.
