I always thought YouTube was better than those, but last week YouTube just de-monetized me , their so-called excuse was that I dont show my face or add commentary to my vids (they cryptically call it content reuse, meaning it appears stock footage that anyone can duplicate). I have been a partner for almost 10 years and this was my main source of income. There are 1000's of similar (literally copy-cat) channels like mine, many monetized. I've been wracking my brain for the last week trying to figure why they did this to me - I brought good ad revenue in for them! Well, it's starting to dawn on me that it could be because of all the pro-Trump and anti-SJW vids I watch (maybe even Styx's?) and periodically comment on. I'm really starting to believe that. I cant fathom why they'd treat me this way otherwise. I wish there was a way to prove my theory.

@Sharkie626 True. I should have known better. My "real" job required long hours and was getting too physical for me to handle, plus I wasn't needed for 7 months of the year. My YouTube accelerated and took off right at the right time, and up until last week, I was doing better and better. I was preparing myself for a very good summer. But yeah, you know what they say about being too good to be true....
