  1. And many people fail to remember that Clinton was quite leftist when he started his Presidency. So far left, that the people voted in the historic "Republican Revolution" in his midterm election, giving Republicans control of both the House and Senate for the first time in 40 years. Their ensuing governance made Clinton look good, and obviously he got all the credit when the country moved a little to the right and things were a little better. It's scary to think what the Clinton Presidency would have turned this country into if he has a full Democrat Congress. Remember Hillary-Care?

  3. I hate those two terms. Styx is totally wrong in calling Reagan in his second term, "Neo-Liberal". Neo means new, so the terms supposedly mean new liberal and new conservative. I dont know about Neo-Liberal, but Neo-Conservative started with Bush saying he was going to be a "kinder and gentler" conservative. In other words, not so staunch on many of the consrvative issues, and willing to compromise in order to get things done. It backfired on him.
