@alexanderarce3341 I assume you meant "no" reason at all? And if so, how is that corrupt? If I'm running my own business, and I employ you, I do not have to provide a reason to the govt if I decide not to employ you. It would actually be more corrupt if an employer could NOT fire an employee for any or no reason.

@Lance Brown Neither of us mentioned "notice", only reason. An employee can be given 2 weeks notice, but no "reason" for being let go, and that's how it should be, its common sense. If I'm paying someone to work at my business, I should have the prerogative to hire or fire anyone I want to, without explaining my reasons to the government. If you hire a man/company to mow your lawn, and for WHATEVER reason, you decide you want to do it yourself, or find a different man or company to do it, do you have to give the first person a REASON why you no longer require his services? It's the same principle. And even if it borders on unethical or callous, it certainly is not CORRUPT!

@Lance Brown what I'm saying is, there's a big difference between having good manners, and being corrupt. It may be good manners to tell an employee or hired worker why you're letting them go, but if you don't it is certainly not "corrupt". The word "corrupt" implies involving the government and the law into your personal decisions.
