  1. Thats the only MAIN difference. There are a lot more differences, such as that half our population loathes the US and wants it to fail, a huge portion of our population has never worked a real job in his life, a majority of our population has never experienced any hard times whatsoever, not even the threat of actual war, half our population believe it's our governments responsibility to feed, clothe. and house us along with providing all of our needs and desires. At least during the great depression, the country came together, all under the same basic belief system. Our population today is so far removed from those people, I doubt we would survive a real depression even if we did have some form of self-sustaining manufacturing base. But yeah, you are correct about that. We have set ourselves up for complete failure.
