"Legalize drugs and you get the ghettos back. " What does that mean? And your first paragraph proves my point! Make something illegal, and put harsh punishment on it, and BINGO you will have less of it! Make something legal, make it no big deal to do it or to try it, and you get more of it. Common sense, which a lot of drug users and proponents seem to lack.

And to bring this convo back to the point, since you keep trying to make some other points (?) , do you think legalizing drugs would keep this whole scenario from happening? No, it wouldn't! The people would still do the same things, it would just be with untaxed, unregulated, unrestricted, 'black market' drugs! And kids would be MORE likely to try them because, hey, they're LEGAL, right? they cant be that bad for you!
