  1. very true. they are on record numerous times saying this is just a step, and their true intention is single payer government run health insurance. many have been recorded saying it in one version or another. thats the holy grail of all democrat politicians.

  2. food is essential, too. do u want the govt setting the price for a big mac or a box of cereal? so is shelter. you want the govt setting the price for home sales? or for apartments or rentals? how about for clothes? or a winter coat?

  4. shadeofmind wow, yeah, thats not nearly as bad as i expected. ive always heard these horror stories about emergency room expenses.   i wish we could go the way of cash on the barrel, and maybe only paying a small monthly insurance bill for catastrophic instances, such as developing cancer or some  money-sucking disease.  i know when i was a child, my mother paid our doctor in cash,for each visit. cant remember what it was, but it was a moderate fee. i vaguely remember a board in the front of his office listing his fees for various procedures.
