They're the closest party to your beliefs, with any chance of ever getting power. get them in, get the power, keep it, THEN start making the changes you want. Voting any other way, youre basically doing nothing, except giving more power to them Dems :-(

  2. I pretty much agree with this! I REALLY wish, this time around, we on the right (Republicans) would push back with all the power of our laws and Govt to expose the corruption within the Democrat Party and seriously start prosecuting them for all the crimes they commit, starting with perjury, and going up from there. Everyone in his/her right mind KNOWS this was an entire political operation, to prevent Trump's nominee from succeeding. The Dems have done the same thing more than once before, to their political opponents. It's a HUGE waste of resources, and money, not to mention the damage it does to the victims. People need to be held responsible for these types of things.

  5. Every time a person votes for a Libertarian, or other 3rd, 4th, or 5th party candidate, thats one less vote for the major candidate most aligned with that persons beliefs. Generally, or I should say historically, that has usually helped the Democrat candidate get more votes. Keep doing that and Dems will keep getting power. I dont necessarily like it, and its def not the most perfect system, but its the reality. Most Libertarians lean more to the right, even if they dont believe it. Taking your vote and giving to anyone but the Republican is in effect giving a vote to the Democrat.

While I love the idea of people leaving the Democrat party to join the Greens and other wacko leftist fractions, leaving the Republican party, at least at this point, can only hurt us people on the right. Yes, we are generally smarter and more responsible, and we actually think about who we want to vote for, but a huge portion of the Dem party are simple minded, lazy, greedy, barely speak English, or illegal. They will ALWAYS vote for them Dems (who cater to them and promise them everything). That is a solid, faithful voting block that we can not convince to come over with logic and reason, or even facts. Sort of what Romney meant by his "47%" quote. Unless we on the right get organized and stand behind and support the one candidate that can actually win, we consistently risk losing seats to the Dems. I know I'm sounding like a broken record, but I think this is important, especially in these days. Dems are out for blood, and they have no bounds. They will do anything and everything to gain power, and even more to keep it whenever they attain it. We need to do everything we can to keep them down and out of power and turn this country around and show to them that their way of doing things is not productive, not in the best interests of this country, and is no longer wanted or accepted. Taking 2%, 5%, or 10% away from the Republican party to split into Libertarian, Conservative, Independent, or whatever, again, only helps the Dems. I understand there may be a few odd local elections where my opinion is not applicable, but I truly think this is the best, maybe only, way we can fight the party of Maxine Waters, Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, Cory Booker, et al...

  8. adam G I understand, I really do. But unless you can somehow convince another 40% of the populace to vote Libertarian with you, either a Dem or Repub is GOING TO WIN. Why give the Libertarian 5% of the vote and let the Dem win by 4%????
