  1.  @reekinronald6776  Great point! I never know how to explain it as well. I have always tried to say that back in the day, both Dems and Repubs at least were both FOR our country. They both wanted the US to be strong, have a strong military, good defense, healthy industrialism and economy, safe schools and neighborhoods, children taught right from wrong, etc....each "side" just had different ways to achieve those goals. Nowadays, it's as if the Dems are a foreign invader trying to destroy our country, as opposed to work with it's citizens to better the country! They are not out to make the country as a whole be better, more powerful, stronger..... they just want to pander to individual groups, one at a time, to gain power and control.
