I kind of agree. At this point, what good will an impeachment process do? The election is in a year. If Biden makes it that long, the people who were going to vote for him would do so even with an impeachment. But to some, it could make him out to be a martyr, the mean Republicans picking on an old man in an election year. It's just too late now, I believe to be talking about this. The time to do it would have been after the Afghanistan debacle, or sometime during his first year. He's already done his damage. Starting the impeachment process now is useless. And like you said, it might just be enough ammunition for the Dems to get a younger more vibrant candidate, who campaigns on getting back at the bad Republicans who did this to Joe.
