  2.  @tomas-333  Bro people on well water and septic still pay property taxes. And costs to the municipal water system are reflected in the bill. Anyway, sales and income taxes are supposed to cover general govt services. And gasoline tax along with registration fees, license fees, tolls, and car purchase taxes are supposed to pay for the roads which are used. Once a house is purchased, the govt does not provide any services directly associated with that property. All maintenance, upkeep, repairs, and causalities are the owner's responsibility. Police, fire, & medical -again, that's supposed to fall under our sales and income taxes bro.

  3. In theory, income tax and sales tax are ALREADY funding those things. Also state lotteries. As for roads, supposedly that's what the gasoline and diesel fuel taxes are funding, along with car registration, auto transfer taxes, etc...
