Exactly! If you remember, the first two years of Clinton were going bad. It was sort of the beginning of all the far left woke stuff. By his first mid-term, the population was ready to put a stop to the progressive left wing policies, and we historically voted in the "Republican Revolution" which started some good economic times! Of course, as Dems (and especially Clintons) do, Bill disingenuously took all the credit and STILL badmouthed the Repubs! I wish more people understood this. And the housing bubble crisis under Bush was a perfect storm of multiple "causes", but the lions share was because of Leftists in Congress under Barnie Frank meddling in the mortgage lending markets. Countrywide Mortgage got sued to oblivion for "discrimination", Mortgage companies were forced to lend money (read: sell houses to) minorities who could never pay back their loans, and in areas where the home values were dropping. Bush wasn't my favorite President, but he got a raw deal on that housing bubble.
