  1. Not to make YouTube innocent of shenanigans, but many creators have seem to have hit brick walls this past year. Many are blaming Shorts. A third or half the YouTube audience is now just flipping through Shorts the whole time they're on the site - long form videos (and their creators) get much less exposure than before. It happened to me, and I've seen many comments from people complaining about the exact same thing in forums and Insider videos.
