It's sounds edgy to say that, but in reality, Clinton was heading way off in the left direction until the historic "Republican Revolution" reigned him in and made some decent things happen during his presidency. When Obama got in, he went far left. Setting the foundations for lots of bad things happening in our schools, colleges, courts, internationally, etc... Republicans aren't perfect, but in each case, a Republican would have been infinitely better than the Democrat. Imagine Obama being President instead of Bush - what we are experiencing today would have come four years earlier! (pointing out that today is theoretically Obama's third term. This is how Obama envisioned this country).
