  1. Sorry for being cliche, but I'm one of the viewers you refer to in this video. I bought a used 2010 Prius 7 years ago with 80k miles on it. I've driven it many hard miles loaded up with passengers and/or equipment up and down mountains and I never had any actual problems with it. It never burned a drop of oil, even to this day. A few months ago, the hybrid battery died, I replaced it, and just now, the head gasket failed (I got the engine shake at start up) at 271k miles! I have never done any EGR or intake cleaning. Just driving a lot (also sitting idling for hours), and changing oil when the light came on. I can easily say it's been the best, most dependable, amazing, car I've ever owned. I'm here because I'd like to get another, but hearing these stories is scaring me away. Mine must have been an anomaly or I was just extra lucky or something.
