  1.  @hidirj  Also, if youre adding what many people mistakingly call a "cold air intake" but really is just the opposite, the whole conversation is moot. Most cars already come with a so-called cold air intake, and many people replace that with a hot air intake! A true cold air intake draws air from the outside of the engine compartment (most factory set ups already do this). Any intake that has an exposed filter within the engine compartment is actually a hot air intake - it is sucking hot air from the engine and radiator blow-off. Cold air would come from inside the fender well, above the hood, or somewhere in front of the radiator (which would also give the benefit of ram air). Sorry, but people sticking a K&N filter onto the throttle body and calling it a COLD air intake is a pet peeve of mine. Because it's exactly the opposite!

  2. The trick may work, but at least in that video, it was a new reservior. You can tell because the mounting tabs aren't hollow, so the cleaner wouldn't have gotten to them.
