@MrDeadhead1952 I got bad news for _you_. YouTube is granted status as a "platform" by the govt, which means they are not responsible for anything that is posted on their site. This affords them many perks, including being immune from libel suits. But being a platform, they supposedly give up the right to arbitrarily censor what is posted on their site. The opposite of platform would be publisher. Being a publisher, youtube would be liable for whatever is published on its site. Therefore, it obviously would have full discretion over what is and isnt published. YouTube has been playing both sides, claiming the immunity and other perks of being a platform, but also exercising censorship and discrimination afforded to publishers. It cant have it both ways. It's either a publisher or a platform.
