@marco.morel04 on a 2010? The car can run on gas engine alone with battery failure??? So when my battery dies, I dont have to replace or refurbish it, I can simply drive it for several more years as a small 4 cylinder car????

@connorPiper0 No, if the battery fails, you cant drive a Prius on the gas engine at all. I think thats one of the problems the engineers failed to solve when designing this system. It's nearly perfect, but it has a couple areas where it could have been designed better.

gunsofaugust1971 Just the kind of comment I've come to expect from the "tolerant, inclusive, non-judgemental" leftist liberal morons. YOU are the main reason why many people dont like the Prius. Idiots like you drive them, and are always sure to badmouth anyone who doesn't. I happen to drive one, too, and I'm as conservative as they come. I also like big trucks, but I bought a Prius for the fuel mileage, low maintenance, and dependability.
