  7. I live in an Oregon town where our option is one Kroger (Fred Meyer) and one Albertsons (Safeway). Kroger has reduced brand options, especially local brands, forcing their brand on us. With the merger, we will have less choice & higher prices. Oregon is fighting against the merger but we know who always wins.
