  1. the united states is already going bankrupt from providing healthcare, you want them to expand? We are going into debt at a rate of 10 billion a day now and its mostly due to medicare, medicaid, va benefits and social security. These are all failed programs. You are paying for them through inflation because the govt just prints the money to pay for them. You could raise the taxes to 100% for the top earners and it wouldn't dent this.
