  1. honestly you can thank the fed for all of it. They allowed interest rates to go to zero for too long. All these businesses took out hundreds of millions of dollars in loans and they reallly have no where to put it.

  2. these folks need to have a lease with their land lord. Everyone I have know in this arrangment has a month to month agreement with is insane. You have no leverage when the land lord wants to raise the rent. rent control is a terrible idea as well because then landlords will not be able to make a profit and therefore not able to maintain their properties and they will eventually turn into rubble.
