  2.  @jacobwatson1818  the “and so on” meant the 40k I used to make is now 60k. Even through it’s more money, it has the same value due to inflation. It was not specific to min wage workers, it’s every. I couldn’t possibly afford to go back to 40k as mush as a 13 an hour worker couldn’t make 8 again

  3.  @jacobwatson1818  the point is the value not the amount. The value of money is substantially less than just a year ago. Its not that company’s are greedy, they charge what is reflected in the value of money. People could make a million dollars an hour, if that money has no value, we are all screwed.
