  1. If they eliminate public housing, section 8 and rent control the cost of housing would drop immediately . The supply would skyrocket because people who can’t afford to live there would move to an area they can afford.

  2.  @BrookeLyn39  the govt is artificially keeping the price of rentals high by paying for it. If the govt stopped, the amount of people who could afford to live there would plummet and so would prices.
