Instead of condemning the CCP for persecuting the Tibetan Buddhists, Falun Gong also acknowledged that Tibet belongs to China according to historical records. To this day, Falun Gong continues revering Mr. Lei Feng, who is the famous Communist hero of China.

Hu Yaobang faction was not in control of the military, so his followers got crushed. Faction wars happen within the CCP all the time.
