  2. It should be called a rock screamers list, not singers, although some can (Tyler, Mercury, Delp, Steve Perry, Daltrey). But Rick needs to go back to the 70s or 60s when singers could, um, sing. Joe Cocker, Peter Cetera (70s Chicago), Eagles, Bog Seger, Peter Cetera, Stephen Stills (and all CSN), Ian Gillian, Steve Walsh, etc. Hell, even David St. Hubbins (Spinal Tap) is better than 75% of this list. Ricks picks are mostly monotone screechers.

  3.  @kurtsherrick2066  totally agree, nothing reaches the level of Ian Gillan JCS. I don't think Ted Neeley is in the same realm. I think he does not get the recognition because that was not a rock band. Rock bands can't soar the way Andrew Lloyd Weber can. If JCS came out in the 80s came out in the 80s, it would have been Bono, and putting an orchestra on Bono, I don't know if anything would have touched that.
