Um, He made MILLIONS AND MILLIONS AND MILLIONS. Like when the Saudis rented an entire floor in the Trump Tower. And foreign govts and lobbyists poured money into his DC and other hotels, domestic and abroad. And when as President he raised 80 mil to fight the big lie, but instead pocketed all of it. And when he spend the year round in his clubs, making everyone staying on rooms. Hell, he brought in millions off the golf carts alone. Ya, he gave up 1.6 mil in salary to pull in hundreds of millions, all violations of the emoluments clause in the Constitution.

@halverde6373 I didn’t ask that. I asked you to explain what a real Republican is. You are the one that made the distinction between real and in name only. So, what is a real Republican? What are the values? What are the beliefs? What are the year after year policies? I’m not a democrat but you are claiming to be a real Republican, so what is it?

@halverde6373 which are? Does Donald Trump have those values? How are they expressed? How do they translate into specific policies that identify a real Republican vs a fake one? For example, Lincoln purposely sought out brilliant people who were his political opponents and he knew would disagree with him. Does Trump do the same? Again, you are saying there is authentic and there is artificial. You are claiming to be a real Republican. I’m an independent, which means I can share values with some independents and completely disagree with the same independents on others. So, if Mitt Romney is a RINO, a former presidential candidate for the Republican Party, why specifically is he a RINO?

@halverde6373 that is like saying a Christian is someone who has no tolerance for another religion, but it does not say what the religion believes. Are the democrats confederates? Aren’t when you see confederate flags being flown, aren’t they often accompanied by Trump flags? How often to you see someone flying a confederate flag that now is a democrat?
