  31. The start of this war was Balfour giving away a land that was not Englands to give away. Since then, the people from Palestine have been resisting colonial settler occupation in ever more desperate ways as the brutality of the occupier ramped up to levels not seen since apartheid South Africa. Those who think the response of Hamas, a group founded well after the initial removal of people from their land, must go back to the ACTUAL start of this conflict and revisit every battle that has occurred until today. Education is enlightening. There must be one secular state where everyone has equal rights and the freedom to follow their religion, without persecution. It is the only solution that gives two people who have suffered devastating losses, the (now) Israelis at the hands of the Europeans and the Palestinians at the hands of the British, US & Israelis. Both must compromise and accept EQUAL RIGHTS for ALL.
