@98dizzard "the heat and radiation from the explosion" nope, the hole was full of water, that is why they were using something relatively so small as the cover, what they didnt expect is that gamma rays after explosion instantly vaporised all that water and then presure from all that steam pushed the cover up.

If you are not able to produce good result in laboratory conditions then how the hell you planing to build a wepond out of it that will be able to wait years and in the end some military guy will be using it not the top scientist in your country?

No, you just think that you know what he should do with his life. There are two posibilities: 1) It is true and then you must be smarter than him... 2) You just dont understand his decisions... Also no he did not live in times of high tech when you need whole army of people to build something new and revolutionary(and even now you can invent important stuff on your own!). Socrates would be today simply labeled by media as "conspiracy theory spreader" or something like that if he would refuse to reiterate pc propaganda that media is selling now to the public. The explosion vaporized instantly all the water in the hole that is why it was ejected in one piece, this movie completly fail to describe that it was gamma ray-steam powered projectile...

Savants are not intelligent and drawing a line betwen them and guys with very high iq is just typical human brain habit where your brain is trying to make conection betwen two completly unrelated things... all superstitions was born thanks to that human brain "flaw". Savants have brain imperfections that allowing them to do what normal brain is unable to do because that imperfection is blocking some important brain function, there is no such thing in case of very smart people, with your logic there is some part of brain that make people stupid and they have it broken... heh
