It only produced 0.2kt, " it proves that it is not a good material for a bomb, Jeff Naujok provided link where we can read about MET "he unexpected lower yield, 33% less than the DoD expected" also proves that there was a problem with this isotope in that case and that isotope was only partialy U-233( "MET" -> test which used a plutonium/U-233 composite pit;)... "Shakti V – A 0.2 kt Thorium/U-233 experimental device. An additional, sixth device (Shakti VI) is suspected to have been present but not detonated" also not a U-233 core and i bet they did not test other devices because Shakti V was so "successful"... If you are not able to produce good result in laboratory conditions then how the hell you planing to build a wepond out of it that will be able to wait years and in the end some military guy will be using it not the top scientist in your country?
