You know that France got suport of UK and Poland didnt? They also got suport of Polish trops that evacuated there. Not to mention that they got like two times more tanks than Germany... And Germany needed to use 50% of ammo used on Poland to force them into surender. Poland didnt do that and in the end Polish soldiers ended in Berlin.

Fan Yechao France was far stronger by hardware(not by spirit), stronger than combined strenght of Germany and Poland. And how that ended? In conversation about WW2 with my German friend he said that they used half of the ammo used on Poland before France surendered... And Poland was attacked by Germany from 3 sides and 4th side was invaded by USSR, and our fortifications was ussles because France and other allies allowed Germany to take Czech territory and by that they were able to flank us so we were forced to abandon that positions without fight... France didnt have this problem they were attacked from one side and they got all the time needed to prepare for that... But if u have no balls... Just read how General Maczek was fighting in France in 1940 and compare it to French chickens that was runing awey and he was forced to abandon tanks because aparently French soldiers were all yelow... And Germany lost in 1939 something like half of tanks that they moved into our territory... What % did they lost in 1940?

"single moving part - the turbine shaft." and the blades moving on that shaft are not part of this engine? heh The whole setup is moving fast in extreme conditions and if something is wrong you can't fix it with beloved Russian tool=>the hammer.

"he tried to keep him as far away from the capital after the war" Stalin didnt allow to go back to most of soldiers that saw how non soviet countries looks like. Because of propaganda that was convincing people how poor, hungry and unhappy are people in non communist countries. People was starving and in the same time Stalin was convincing people that they should be happy because others have less...

@bart413 Poland got 3 millions of soldiers not 1 million but most of them were not mobilized because our allies was claiming that this gonna provoke Germany(and maybe i am wrong but i think that French were so paranoid about it not the UK). Few days after the war started French was sending to Poland fake raports with claim that French forces attacked and in them there were even providing info how big German forces they tied up with a fight. Poland got nice fortifications on its west border but because UK and France provided Germans with Czechoslovakia all that fortifications were useless because Germans were able and did attack from the south and all that positions would be very easy to encircle and destroy from behind. "second biggest economy in the world" in 1938-1939 they were far from it, during september 1939 the best German tanks were produced by Czechoslovakian Skoda and Germans got them and super strong mountain fortifications on the Czechoslovakian-German border for free from France and UK in Monachium. During Battle of the Bzura commanding German General was claiming that they were low on suplies... "Very advanced, with huge capabilities, " yea that is why Germans took 3 millions of horses with them when they attacked Soviet Union->because they were so super advanced as you can see in every National Geographic document about them. heh "lots of high schools etc." yea, that is why Poland was able to break enigma code in 1931 when France and UK was considering it imposible until Poland in the sumer of 1939 showed them Enigma replica and Polish machine that was used on daily basis to decode German comunication... "France wasn’t ready for that hit also." Poland got 3 millions trained and able to fight soldiers and France got 5 millions of people with proper training, equipment for them and in proper age. Poland, France and UK got more tanks, planes and soldiers than Germany in 1939 on top of that half of the German tanks at that time was Pz. I with 8-13mm of armor and low caliber mg as a primary wepond... Poland was simply sacrificed by western allies in hope that sooner or later German-Soviet mariage gonna end up with ugly divorce(and they were not wrong).
7
And thats appropriate for this betrayal? When Poland asked UK to atleast drop some bombs on German factories Brits was babling that they can not do that because they were private property(that is only one example of behaviour of our "allies"). And your statment that Poland was allone is another attempt to hide truth under carpet. Polish forces was moving back because of fact that UK and France allowed Germany to take Czech teritory and because of that all fortifications build on west side of Poland was usless(they were ready to be encircled) there was also other reason for that move, they wanted to regrup and attack after promised suport from UK and France... It would be easy win... even numbers from your video showing that clearly. French army was then few times stronger than German forces that wasnt even in Germany to protect it... Biggest Polish error was in choice of friends not lack of them like your movie sugesting.

@jasurbekjabbarov6891 Name who and where signed any deal with the "art student" or anyone that was working for him. Putin in his idiotic accusation never is talking who, where and when did that mythical deal that he is talking about. Also explain how the fact that the Poland took this small territory in 1938 was helpful to the Germany that would for sure want to have all that coal that was there and was the whole reson why Czechs murdered all the Polish soldiers in that territory 20 years before when that teritory at that time was mostly enhabited by Polish people...
6
@seneca983 Well if you watch this video you can learn from it that the evacuation of Polish government in september 17, 1939 was one of the reasons to invade... and if you actualy know anything about history then you should know that Polish government evacuated september 19(not to mention that you need a week or two to prepare the invasion...).
6
@lati long Maybe tell us more, especialy why German tank commanders in 1939 were trained in Soviet Union in "Kama tank school" and fighter pilots in "Lipetsk fighter-pilot school"? Or maybe about Gas-Testgelände Tomka? Why all the German tank were made out of Soviet metals and burning soviet oil in september 1939? Any smart explanation of that?
5
@HiragaSaito1998 He is Russian not Czech... do not feed the Russian Troll! Czechs are fully aware that Poland was not part of Munich Agreement in 1938, Poland was not even there as an observer because Poland would never agree to that deal that allowed Germany to attack Poland from the south(Czech territory) and encircle all the fortifications that Poland was building on its west borders for years.

karnevalsjeck1984 Even if u gonna make referedum with question 2 + 2 = 4 there will be more than 1 vote from 400 with answer NO from people that wanted to answer YES(and acording to that referendum it was less than 1 person from 400). And reason for that is simple: people making errors. On Adolf position i would slap into face guy responsible for publication of that score, because not all people are as "smart" as you... "Wikipedia is also brainwashed by evil nazis?" some people that writing it clearly are, link that i found is long and properly made link that you provided is short and omiting all that what was in my link but was against theory that referendum was valid. No one will be making referendum if 399 of 400 citizens think the same... Thats why there was https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Kingdom_European_Union_membership_referendum,_2016 and that is proper referendum with Registered voters/turnout 46,500,001 72.21% even during stalin times in Poland they were not stupid enoght to claime that much less than 1% are against some idea...
4
"To be fair" Yea that is true if you using Soviet books to learn about it... Soviet murdered almost every Polish citizen that was in uniform(military or civilian uniform...). Before German attack on the Soviet Union most of the civilians that were murdered died in the Soviet part of Poland or in Siberia from hunger or cold or both as Soviets started massive deportations of Polish citizens and extermination of Polish intelligentsia asap and Germans needed to train Gestapo when NKVD had allready huge experience in this topic and that is why they were making conferences in Poland for Gestapo to teach Germans how to do it...
4
It's quite bizarre for you because you clearly have zero idea what are you talking about... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gestapo%E2%80%93NKVD_conferences And yes NKVD was teaching Gestapo how to terrorize the population because at that time NKVD was so ahead of Gestapo in this topic... People in uniforms were executed in Soviet part of Poland, soldiers, police, railway workers, post workers... Millions of people transpoted to Siberia, NKVD comming into your home 4am only 15 minutes to pack your things, no food, often not warm clothes and in the end plenty people not survived the transport or died in few weeks after they were kicked out of the train in the middle of harsh winter in the place where there was nothing build yet... "Of course, in an ideal world the USSR would not have invaded Poland. But in an ideal world there would also be no threat of Nazi invasion, " There was info in the movie about secret part of the Molotov–Ribbentrop Pact but clearly they never teach you in your Russian troll school...
4
Just put in the search box "Who Started World War II? by Viktor Suvorov" very good explanation of the topic by ex-KGB that defected from Soviet Union and have whole book about it "Icebreaker".
4
mr99 Yea, that is why milions of them died in German POW camps and concentration camps...
4
karnevalsjeck1984 I may be hilarious, but i am not brainwashed moron that believe that 99.7561% voted for Anschluss. Aparently i am talking to 32years old guy that have brain of 6 year old. I need to end this conversation because its dumper and dumper with every idiotic comment that i am forced to read from you and other brainwashed pupets that thinks that they are on top of evolution when in fact i am prety shure i would be able to find dog smarter than some of you.
3
@_uncas_7485 "Плохо учился." Funny shit when you take into cosideration that both this countries started its existance after the Soviet Union colapse in 1991... Luckly using your brain during history lessons in Soviet Union or Russia is strictly forbidden. LoL
3
@TotalRookie_LV It is 2 minutes job to find proper data and for over 50 years most civilian victims are not on your side... the real terrorists in this war using planes and in the same time have control over media to present themselves as the victims. The "Iron Dome" function is to cover up the truth. Your country claiming that they leveled some city in in the retaliation and "Iron Dome" is the main excuse why there is no damage or a single victim on your side... Funy how all always babling about this system and how it is able to shot down everything but i did not saw one video in TV or internet with this system in action in real life situation. Only some staged test/presentations of this system are available... i wonder why...
3
@conda7774 Putin few years ago invented idea of ministry that will be fighting with "rewriting history"... so yea Soviet propaganda is what they teach kids in school and in 1939 according to them Soviet Union/Russia was not taking part in this war... No school gonna teach anyone in Russia about for example this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gestapo%E2%80%93NKVD_conferences
3
Its Załoga and this is Polish surname and its also a Polish word: "załoga"="crew". "ł" you reading like letter "w" in word "week".
3
karnevalsjeck1984 No, where is sense in that? They traped Poland so it would go on a war on British French side because Germany would be able to win WWII with Poland on German side. And the whole point was to stop USSR and comrad Stalin, that was preparing for II World War for much longer than Adolf. USSR was all about world domination and they were preaty open about it https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soviet_Union#/media/File:State_Emblem_of_the_Soviet_Union.svg all is here on that state emblem that using whole planet as "its territory".
2
karnevalsjeck1984 English bags of crap promised to deffend Poland against Germany not against USSR. "Germany made very good offers for a fair peace to poand but never got any answere." what was that? You give us 1.5 milion soldiers to attack USSR and we will not gonna genocide you? hehe And again you repeating that idea that England wanted war betwen Poland and Germany, there is significant difference betwen "we dont want you to be ally of Germany" and "we want war betwen you and Germany"... "Hitler didn't realise the plot." i think that he was fully aware what is going on, his only fail here is that he didnt try to win hearts of Polish citizens when our government runed awey to London. That was his masive error, he underestimates us, without Polish ressistance blowing his trains and sabotaging what ever they can he would be able to win in USSR. But he was mad at Poland like a little kid and thats why he treated us like shit, He changed his mind in 1943 (if i remember it corectly) but it was too late...
2
karnevalsjeck1984 The name of the city is Gdańsk not Danzig it was established by Polish people and The Order of Brothers of the German House of Saint Mary in Jerusalem was invited there to help protect Polish christians from non christians. Ofc when Germans came there they started to treat Polish king like shit(where do we know that...) and soon there was a war and attempt to "christianize" all slavic people including christians in Poland(who cares that we took christianity from Germany few centuries before...). "allowed to build a highway to east-prussia" exterritorial highway, there is again a significant diference. And i have no doubt that we would be happy as Czechs was after they gived Hitler only that small part of coutry that he was asking frrom them, oh wait Hitler tooked it all... But who would be learning history when you can take facts just like you: directly out of your ass?...
2
Charles McCarron It will be shock for you, but Germany invaded much more than "Poland": Austria then Czechoslovakia then Poland and there was much after "poland" as well, aparently whole world was in the busines of "mistreated the German minority". And official German reason for that invasion was staged by Germans attack by Poland on German radio station. You dont faking reasons for invasion if there is good reason like "mistreated the German minorities". Also Adolf wrote book called Mein Kampf with whole plan in it so no one with half functional brain will be able to swallow that crap that you trying to sell here... With your "justification" allies could after WW2 wipe your whole sick nation, they didnt because normal people dont act like Germans do(for ages)...
2
karnevalsjeck1984 Was referendum made before or after military invasion? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anschluss "Hitler, tired of waiting, ordered the invasion to commence at dawn on 12 March regardless" hehe You can invade country and then stage that there was 99% suport for that action in referendum. 10% of people are usualy anty-conformist and most of the time will not gonna vote like 90% of population so 99% its clearly taken out of Adolf a s s. Hitler also said that he will gonna take only small border side of Czechoslovakia and how trustworthy was his words? Like in the topic of 99% suport of Anschluss? hehe
2
@sovietheart3883 "Soviets always tell the truth!" That claim from this book that Polish government evacuated 17 september 1939 is a very good example of that. For some reason in every history book in Poland you can read that the Polish government evacuated 19 september 1939...
2
@Brainiaccccc Tak, Rosjanie zawsze twierdzą że my to bracia, tylko na sam koniec to się okazuje że: brat brata harata...
2
How this can be unbiased if he is using Soviet sources? Would u use only bank robers opinions to write an article about that bank robery? For example in this book they claim that the Polish government left Poland 17 september 1939 and that was one of the suposed reasons for "not an invasion", Polish government evacuated 19 september 1939... two days after Soviet attack on Poland.
2
@BobSmith-dk8nw Soviets promised to attack Poland 1 september 1939 hand by hand with Germany. After Germans invaded and Soviets did nothing Germans were asking them why they are not attacking... When Moscow responded that they are not ready yet and London declared the war painter in Berlin was not far from heart attack. Watch Victor Suvorov lecture about the topic 50min long... he have also whole book about it "icebreaker".
2
@real-history-online "poland invaded belarussia and ukraine in the 1920's, so technically... its pretty accurate." So Poland invaded in 1920 two countries that started its existance as a country after Soviet Union colapsed in 1991... That is a good example of Soviet/Russian logic. heh Not to mention that Soviet Union in 1932 signed The Soviet–Polish Non-Aggression Pact. mr. Real History Online... ROTFL
2
thewaterdrop123 " Stalin to issue order 227"+"That's the reason why the Germans could take 1 to 3 Million prisoners in the first couple months" this two things are the best example how you dont have any real knowledge in the topic... 1) Order was issued long after Germans took "1 to 3 Million prisoners"... 2) The reason why they were losing so badly at the beggining was simple: Stalin was prepared to backstab Adolf and concetrated everything on the border, milions of German-Russian dictionaries was allready printed for Red Army when Adolf attacked Stalin, army prepared for offensive is very vulnerable for attack and unable to effectively deffend own position. One of the soviet airfields was only 800m from border, its very good position for attack but crapy as hell when you need to deffend it... And its significant how no one here knows about "Sabotage and diversionary actions of the Union of Armed Combat (ZWZ) and Home Army (AK) from 1 January 1941 to 30 June 1944" and how significant it was for German failure on the east front... Soviets dont want to know and our west "alies" also like to forget about all that efford that was inconvenient for our "alies" that was hapy to forget and betray Poland... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polish_contribution_to_World_War_II
2
Single bullet into the back of the head... not wall was involved and they also did that to anyone in Polish uniform including police, railroad workers, post workers...
2
@englishalan222 "Veterans of Stalingrad" were decimated by Stalin to not spread the story that citizens of Stalingrad was forced by hunger to eat(other veterans of Stalingrad)...
2
@John Shepherd I would advice you to find on YT video with tittle "Who Started World War II? by Viktor Suvorov". Plenty of stuff that they normaly do not teach in history books and the guy that is doing the lecture is ex-KGB spy that defected to the west and he is explaining the topic to some US military students. Only thing that is questionable there is his opinion about Danzig, because from one hand it was Polish city for centuries before Germans came and organized massacre of local population but in 1939 majority of its citizens were Germans and like 90% of them voted for the guy with small mustache.
2
Kwodlibet You comparing him to one of the best tanks of that era? Seriously? ROTFL. He is like a bank rober that is claiming its bank fault/trap that they hired only one guard armed with low caliber revolver. And his "Germany offered the polish that they can keep" is like typical bank rober statment "give me your belongings or i gonna take your live" so its not his fault that he shoted them all, he gived them how he is calling it "good offer" hehe AND "most important: Polish armed militias under british controll forced the war on Germany by slaughtering thousands of Germans that lived on polish territory." i think in that moment any positive effect of medicaments that he is using to stay in touch with reality just faded.

karnevalsjeck1984 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gda%C5%84sk "In 1308, the town was taken by Brandenburg and the Teutonic Knights were hired by the Polish prince (later king) Władysław I the Elbow-high to restore order. Subsequently, the Knights took over control of the town. Primary sources record a massacre carried out by the Teutonic Knights on the local population,[23] of 10,000 people" Germans 700 years ago did that?! Nooooooo And this desciption of one of the pictures from WW2 "Captured Polish defenders of the Polish Post Office in Danzig shortly before their trial and execution by the Wehrmacht" Wehrmacht was executing people? Not bad nazists from SS? Nooooooo... hehe Seriously i feel sory for you, i dont know how you can be German and proud of your own nation in the same time without lying to yourself all the time. I will not gonna waste more time on you, sory. You clearly want to be proud and without some fabricated facts its simply not posible, so i am 100% sure that u didnt learn anything from me here because i dont have for you your kind of "truth". I googled "attacks on germans in pre war poland" and i found this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gleiwitz_incident Not what you was hoping for? hehe
1
karnevalsjeck1984 "My own family came as refugees from Posen, which is a part of Poland today because polish militias forced them to pack a few things and kicked them out of their house." And you are mad that they didnt respect ancient German tradition and didnt murdered your family on the spot? hehe "But the massacres of the german population is also true." your own story contradicts that crap that you trying to sell here. I didnt write that "all the others are good" but lets be honest, you writing that crap here only because "all the others are" not as "good" as Germans. Arbeit macht frei...
1
@IvanIvanov-ho6rz "You should better answer yourself how Ukrainian and Belorussian lands became "Polish"" Ukrainian country started its history in 1991 and Belorussian country started its history in 1991... Even if we ignore this two important facts then we have also this one small fact that Moscow was capital of Grand Duchy of Moscow and change of name from Moscals into Ryssians do not make you more Belorusian or more Ukrainian... There is also Soviet–Polish Non-Aggression Pact from 1932 and the fact that Polish government evacuated from Poland two days after your invasion that you trying so hard to name invasion. Not to mention that plenty of Ukrainian and Belarusian soldiers was runing awey from Red Army in 1939 as they wanted to fight on Polish side with your beloved union that starved in 1933 how many Ukrainians during this planed genocide that is called Holodomor? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holodomor#/media/File:GolodomorKharkiv.jpg
1
"Buddy, your depth of research" his so called "depth research" completly ignoring fact that Polish destroyer "ORP Piorun" found Bismark and exchanged fire with him, ofc British sources will not gonna say much about it and try to denny as much Polish achivments as posible(Because they betrayed Poland in Yalta...). For example in wikipedia in "en" version about ORP Piorun we can read this "Alone, Piorun exchanged fire with Bismarck for an hour, with neither side scoring any hits" if you switch to Polish version you can read "druga i trzecia salwa „Pioruna” miały być, według obserwatorów, celne[55]."(second and third salvoes of Piorun was according to observators in target). So Polish crew that was there say that they scored multiple hits on Bismark and Brits that wasnt there say that they were not able to hit anything for over an hour... ORP Piorun cannons was big enoght to seriously damage AA systems mounted on Bismark and kill or seriously injury people operating them... and there is nothing about it in this movie he is talking instead that there was wind and somehow slow speed of planes made them harder to hit(that have no sense if you ask me, especialy that this planes would just fly in direction of the ship so slower speed of the plane=more time to hit them, where is logic in that?).
1
@zepter00 "I can say that I live 41 years in Poland" I live here one year less than you and it took me few seconds to fully understand this guy nick... And yes Icek was very popular name in Poland when communists did not started to change family names to hide real nationality(and that is why Icek is used as a nickname for Polish citizens that have the same nationality as the guy from the avatar)... And Szechter is real family name of the influential media personality that you can see on this guy avatar. This guy father was arested and sentenced in 1934 for spying for USSR and his brother is hiding from Polish law in Sweeden and Sweeden is refusing extradition of this criminal to Poland and the guy from the avatar changed his father family name to hide who he is and what are his real intentions(that is why it is posible that 41 years old guy have no idea who Szechter is...).
1
@horatio8213 "You mean personal union between Polish Kingdome and Great Duchy of Lithuenia. That sate that Lithuenia is ruled by Lithuenian Great Prince. Poland ". Kingdome=king... and king>prince this is stuff that 8 years old kid have no problem to understand... After coronation his title was King of Poland and if there was need then they would add after that his lower rank title just to inform people why he is also the owner and the ruler of other lands. "Integration of both states" kingdom>dutchy and that is why this Lithuanian guy was living in Kraków-> the capital of the kingdom... Lithuanian nobles were promised to be treated as equals with Polish nobles and that was the core element of the whole integration. Whole idea of nationality that you are trying to use was not born yet and even after it became a thing it was not so important in case of Royal families. The best example is that German royal family that was living in London during WW2 and they simply changed that German family name to something more British to not antagonize the public opinion every time when German bomb was landing on some British roof...
1
@nrw64 "GDR Knew what happened. " When 10% of country population is working for Stasi it is hard to hide anything...
1
@dragonace119 "how they treated POWs." they should like Germans hold people in POWs camp with no access to food? Maybe check how many millions of Soviet POWs were staved or worked to death by Germany during WW2...
1
In the end Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels printed its "Manifesto of the Communist Party" in London not in Moscow...
1
@MilitaryHistoryVisualized When you take into consideration "Germania Slavica" and that even capital of Germany have its East Slavic(Polabian) etymology it is kinda strange that Germans strugling so much with Polish city names. :P
1
@schnuersi Or the number is caused by the speed of the plane in a dive attack...
1
German data about losses in Polish campaign in 1939 is obviously fake... we have year 2022 it is time to wake up... For example the first air victory made by Polish pilot ppor. Władysław Gnyś the two Do-17 are somehow not listed as German losses anywhere in German records, you can easly find pictures of this two planes crashed and burning near Polish vilage but according to the same data that you are quoting they were someone else planes... LoL Germans generaly have very hard time to accept how many false info the official German sources have and that its the case for most "historical" German books that have anything to do with Poland. It started with the very beggining and Teutonic Order, for example the fact that Poland invited Germans for protection and instead our guardians we got people that were organizing massacres of local Polish population... is not something that you can read in German historical books from that period of time... Soon after the takeover, on 19 June 1310, the Teutonic Knights faced charges that they had committed a massacre in a bull issued by pope Clement V: "Latest news were brought to my attention, that officials and brethren of the aforementioned Teutonic order have hostilely intruded the lands of Our beloved son Wladislaw, duke of Cracow and Sandomierz, and in the town of Gdańsk killed more than ten thousand people with the sword, inflicting death on whining infants in cradles whom even the enemy of faith would have spared.->that crosses on German military vehicles are the exact same Teutonic Knights crosses...
1
@Viruseek1337 I'll say right off the bat that if you were unagle to notice that the book/video is claiming that the Polish government evacuated september 17 when in reality the evacuation was two days later (as the result of the invasion) then you should stop pretending that you are qualified to present Polish point of view...
