One of the soviet airfields was only 800m from border, its very good position for attack but crapy as hell when you need to deffend it... And its significant how no one here knows about "Sabotage and diversionary actions of the Union of Armed Combat (ZWZ) and Home Army (AK) from 1 January 1941 to 30 June 1944" and how significant it was for German failure on the east front...
