@johnnychimpo7539 Being an engineer = using logic and efficient methods -> sending the sub to the bottom without testing the thrusters first is not logical or efficient -> no real engineer was clearly hired by the OceanGate and the CEO was not a person that should be called an engineer->at least not in conection to this project.

His company made it and have legal responsibilities even if victims signed everything, also he was doing all this not as private person but as someone that was working for this company and i would say the text is missleading by claiming that some completly different company located on Bahamas is doing it->preaty sure that you do not gonna find confirmation of that on main webpage of OceanGate...

@undeadarmy19 "If everyone tells you that the bridge will likely fail," where in this document you see that info that this trip gonna most likely kill you/someone?! You not only strugle to read/to listen with understanding but you also failing to understand that every company and an adult person needs to obey the law and just because your victim signed something your illegal actions do not became legal -> unless you are a president of a country or something similar... And lets be honest here, it is preaty clear that this whole waiver idea is to allow company to do what ever they want and in normal country that is not how law works and civilian contracts can not give any company this type of privilege...

@ronbennett7885 "Glue part appears sloppy, but didn't matter. Pressure is primarily what held the caps on." you need to have support in every point of your submarine from every point -> you can not have a point or like in this case a whole line where you submarine body is not supported from one side->then other sides need to take that load and the pressure you are talking here about will be providing friction but this is not you want on a ship that is full of people and 4km under water! The glue conection also needs to be anisotropic...

@gavinjenkins899 " had to get the $50 cheapest possible screwdriver, a $200 milwaukee is out of budget lol" this is the one of not so many examples where someone was using brain in this company... just trowing awey money on branded tools to have similar tool but 4 times more expensive is not how you start successful company...

""Any disputes related to or arising from either the Expedition or this Release shall be governed by the laws of The Bahamas. Any dispute arising from either the Expedition or this Release shall be resolved in the courts of The Bahamas."" CEO was US citizen and US have no problem to issue legal judgments even when they do not legally have jurisdiction over a given territory. In this situation, we are dealing with activities in international waters and this document does not change that. If you challenge the legality of this entire document in court, you can challenge this part as well. For me, this part is the best proof that this whole document is a scam because it suggests that a completely different company(located i Bahamas) is carrying out this whole operation, which is an obvious lie...
