@maciamay1393 Rocketry is based on work of Konstantin Ciołkowski ->son of Polish noble send to Siberia for taking part in uprising against Russia(he was half Polish half Russian) and his equation is used for multistage rockets to this day and named after him... Ceiling painting was invented before the last ice age so has no connection with any currently living nation... Concept of zero comes from India and Europe got it with Indian numbers from Arabs so we call them Arab numbers but in reality they are from India. The binary system was already used by John Napier in the 16th century, he was writing 0 and 1 as 'a' and 'b'. But the father of the modern binary system is considered to be Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz, the author of the article Explication de l’Arithmétique Binaire published in 1703. I think you were thinking about IP address as the root of internet, but it can be written in both the binary and decimal systems, even though it's usually written in the hexadecimal system, it uses Arabic numerals and Latin letters. It wouldn't be a problem to create the internet using Roman numerals either... Ancient mathematicians got along quite well without zero... I would say that more important in the case of the "internet" was mathematical logic and that was done by the West. Here is part of article about Polish notation invented 100 years ago: "When Polish notation is used as a syntax for mathematical expressions by programming language interpreters, it is readily parsed into abstract syntax trees and can, in fact, define a one-to-one representation for the same. Because of this, Lisp (see below) and related programming languages define their entire syntax in prefix notation (and others use postfix notation). "

@shxmana "yet a cow can survive where the average human would die" Ahem, people like you have killed a lot of poor black children, giving them milk to help with their malnutrition in the middle of previous century, because it didn't occur to them that not everyone is lactose tolerant like Europeans(as only tribes that were involved in animal breeding have lactose tolerance)... Send your cow to the Arctic Circle and we'll see how smart your statement was. Not to mention the fact that you write your nonsense about a species that has absolutely nothing in common with the natural species from which these animals come and which became extinct a few centuries ago. ->The aurochs (Bos primigenius).

Most likely tropical viruses got them, as our ancestors came from warm climate with huge population and plenty of diseases and they were living in cold climate where they got noone of them and because of that they got zero immunity to any of them. This was also the reason why Europeans were avoiding africa before antybiotics and vaccines were invented... In 19th century avg. lifespan of European in Sub-saharan africa was only one and half year...

@craigmackay4909 They were separated and living in warm environment... Neanderthals, on the other hand, lived in the Arctic Circle environment and had to figure out how to obtain food, fuel and shelter from the cold and hungry bears... The idea of noble blood is popular in Britain even though most countries have already come to the conclusion that it is complete nonsense and leads to nothing good... Individuals of the same species living closer to the poles always show higher intelligence because it is useful in obtaining food when conditions are optimal and there is enough food; a large brain is just a waste of energy.
