@hia5235 "Men are more capable than unmanned craft." Ekhm, 3 manned landing symlator vehicles were made and all 3 of them lost stability in few seconds of flight and pilots were forced to eject... always people with no knowledge or understanding have the "strongest" opinion. and the main difference is that real lander was providing very little visibility of the ground plus object on the surface were of completely unknown size so there was ZERO chance for a human to tell how far from the surface you are...

@marhanen The biggest issue in case of self-driving are other humans on the road that act random and unpredictable... and human perception of debt is crapy if you are landing on surface of the Moon where there is not a single object of known to you size and on top of it you are flying it via tiny mirror that allowng you to see what is under your ship...

@ploed "Human interaction" screaming human in fear is a MUST? Or maybe someone has to bang their forehead on the instrument panel in case the computer hangs? heh
